# Proposed website excerpt

This file explains the evidence behind the website excerpt; it is not a second source of on-page framing. Use [sample-copy.md](../sample-copy.md) for the exact website labels and surrounding text. The four quoted passages below are verbatim excerpts from the source or recorded outputs. The Practical journal mockup includes them.

**Fictional brief. PM review recorded in Claude Code using Fable.**

From the draft:

> When the request completes, show “Projects archived” and remove archived projects from the active list.

> If any projects fail, show a general error and keep the selection so the user can try again.

The supplied context says the request can succeed for some projects and fail for others.

**P0: contradictory result behaviour. Fix before implementation.**

> The partial-failure state is contradictory and breaks the brief's own success criterion.

The review explains that engineering has been given conflicting instructions for the same result. For this fictional demonstration, Codex created the original brief and supplied the follow-up decision that the summary must distinguish newly archived, already archived and failed projects. These are agent-authored scenario decisions, not a customer's decisions or James's own experience.

An excerpt from the proposed revision, drafted by the PM skill from that decision. The full replacement includes per-result behaviour, this summary rule and retry rules:

> After every completed request, show a summary that states three counts: newly archived, already archived, and not archived. Never show the unqualified message “Projects archived” when any project was not archived.
